@ChristinaTasty You know what's REALLY funny about Newgrounds dating sims? They were the English speaking world's first major exposure to true stat-based dating sims. Few, if any, were actually translated when they came out. So mostly people learned about their mechanics from those.

"This predicted DDLC" This is bait specifically for me. DDLC isn't even the first "meta" dating sim, literally everything it did had already been done. But parodies of dating sims have been made since the early 2000s. No wonder the genre is dead. It's irony all the way down.

FUN FACT a lotta people use all these tools to add emulated games into steam, when really, as long as the file type is set by windows to open in a certain app, steam can just launch the rom and windows will open the emulator, pretty neat!! #thisisahashtag
