Are we ever genuinely going to find out how / why the BSAA cloned Chris into a BOW in RE8, or did Capcom forget about that?

@juicermv @melokirstein Well at the moment, there's no reason to believe its a clone as its not been addressed etc in the cutscene or after. Right now it just screams reusing assets imo. Unless Capcom actually makes it canon ofc.

@ArklayEmbers Then everything outside of the hospital/rpd and that one street section was just set pieces. Areas that we should have been able to explore was turned into get from point a to b linear action rush.
It could have been grander. Raccoon city deserved more than that.

@ArklayEmbers In RE3R, the exploring RC part is just one main street that loops round and its all next to the RPD.
The OG was downtown to uptown. It wasnt just one street with one connecting alleyway. That's what so many fans have an issue with, a ps1 map vs ps4 map? Should not be same size.

Yes RE3R had alot of wested potential to expand but please stop with the false narrative that the city in the remake was a line or a couple of streets when in reality here is the original city and remake city side by side

@flinseye What do you consider taking your time? When a new game or update comes out people aren't going to play it for only like 30 mins or an hour. Spending 2 hours on a new update is perfectly acceptable. But if thats all it takes to 100%, a new area. Thats a problem in itself.

@gracesrequiem_ 100%, and so far every investigation we've seen her take on has lead to dangerous situations where there is combat and life threatening moments. Perfect set ups for a main game again.

I don't want to come off hostile, but you aren't wrong but you're also not entirely right. A lot of what you're saying ends up reducing Claire to a "supporting" role in the franchise, which really isn't accurate. 1/10
(I'm not against ada being the DLC this is just about claire)

@Dreamsinthenoct It would be more on Capcom for poor story writing if they can't find a way to include Claire when so far every cgi movie plus rev2 plus the heavenly island manga all show there are plenty of ways to include her.

@Dreamsinthenoct So far we've seen that since joining Terrasave. Several investigations she leads takes her down a dangerous path which is a perfect set up for a big main game.
Its like, originally she was just a college student yet had 2 big games during the early days of RE.

I don’t mind Ada, but if Claire isn’t DLC but Ada is, this probably is the most screwed-over Claire has ever been. 💀 -Has more connection to RC -Has more connection to all characters -Is never mentioned or acknowledged But hey have an ambiguous charm that only speculates a possible relationship that we don’t wanna confirm or deny be happy!

@MsSaiFox You can instantly tell which tourists are there for the right reasons and who's there for the wrong reasons. Ive been in Japan for 2 weeks and the amount of annoyance I've had with certain tourists. One woman was just letting her kid constantly try and kick at pigeons acting dumb

I have a full time job yet still plenty of time to play games. This logic doesn't quite add up. Your saying that a person can watch hours of videos/movies etc but not use that time to play one game over a few days? It doesn't have to be one sitting. Its not a race.

@SurvivorNo0322 What do you mean barely any city? We got 2 streets that we was able to revisit 3/4 times plus 1 alley.....thats huge!
End sarcasm. We could have had a wonderful Raccoon City to explore but Capcom wanted a 3 hour action fast track that left so much to be desired. Beyond gutted.

6 years ago Capcom marketed Resident Evil 3 Remake with a full map of Raccoon City & the Clock Tower… baiting fans with nostalgia for a game they butchered & rushed out the door right after RE2R.
The final version barely had any city, & the Clock Tower was completely skipped🖕🏼
