Emerging Market & Commandment I'm also using, especially underneath. Commandment a proven commodity that I think is the most likely horse to run his race. Emerging Market very well may be the best horse in the race & like Chad said, was ready to go long before he debuted.

I really like Chief Wallabee. He has looked so much better in the AM with the blinkers, he has trained like a machine. If the blinkers do in the evening what they have done in the morning that should be enough. Bill & Junior seem to have another air of confidence.

@Pan_Zareta His record out of CA this year (including Saudi Arabia, VA, Ark, NY, LA) starts is 13-5-1-2 so about 40% win percentage before this week. 0 for 5 now at CD w/ a couple of trainer scratches, too.

@BeReal2025 So often they just have nothing in the stretch after good early trip, positioning. No battle, no rebreak of yesteryear. Memory as the second choice in r2, sixth. I'm reacting to a few anecdotal instances, but curious to see win% for '26 outside CA.

Perhaps Bob's win % still intact because CA is in a free fall. Not the same anymore when traveling

@Pan_Zareta I think he is 30% in CA and around 20% eleswhere past few years. I think a few of his (i.e. Memory) are overbet in tough spots because of Bob.

@BeReal2025 Makes sense. But also feel like it’s not fair to a horse and their connections on the AE’s. My opinion: they should wait an extra 24 hours before officially scratching a horse, and treating AE’s as a “late scratch” if they don’t get in.

Good segway to this question: why wouldn’t scratch time for AE’s to draw into the race be at 9:30 AM today? Why was it yesterday, when AE 24 had to scratch? He would have got in the race if scratch time was today.

@TheBadAgent @ChurchillDowns @claibornefarm They bought him last year before he ran in Pacific Classic, he ran then as leased from Coolmore partners by them. Seems some deal for him was completed. IF he can win a Gr. 1 will be a nice stud prospect.

I couldn't help but notice that Hall of Fame is running today in 10th @ChurchillDowns for owner @claibornefarm. Did I miss anannouncement that they bought this horse from previous owners? Are there plans to stand him?

@sullivanms @trifectabox @ChurchillDowns Yeah. No. I will try again. (Aside from you noting they might be unethical and not have the horse's best interest at heart.) The state and regulatory vets in KY are abysmally incompetent because, wait for it. the good ones are in private practice with plenty of demand.

@BeReal2025 @trifectabox @ChurchillDowns It could also be that they were too intimidated by the trainers to do their job properly and didn't scratch when they should have. So that metric gives them cover when they get all the shit from the trainers, as they are.
