ICE is actively detaining and holding people who wouldn’t have been detained before… denying due process, illegally detaining whoever they want, and overwhelming the system to be able to hold people longer… just so private contractors can profit off their imprisonment. That’s trafficking under a legal cover… using people against their will for money… and calling it lawful doesn’t make it any less exploitative.
