@MichaelPetrilli Neighborhood schools are great! I want every kid to have a nearby option they can access, complete with a playground and public green or court space. School boundaries on the other hand... well they're explicitly designed to prevent access.

School choice advocates will say this is a sign PFISD schools aren't performing and deserve competition. But what if that's not the whole answer? Kids are leaving both good and weak schools. It's not all about failing schools. Sometimes it's just the next shiny object.

What to look for on election night in the #TXSen Dem primary:
1) Votes. The more each candidate gets, the better. And that's likely to determine the winner of the entire ballgame.
2) The map. Votes from outside Texas aren't likely to count at all—unless they were mailed in.
