I hope they do jump ship, that way the democrats can get back to winning. Their pandering to the far left is part of the reason why they lost. It alienates and pushes center-left and center-right voters over to the other side, which are usually the working class voters. You can still incorporate and work on issues that the far left sees as a concern, but they made those issues the entire identity of the party.
