I'm so happy to announce I've been named to the Wish Upon A Wedding Board of Directors (a volunteer position). Jason and I were wish recipients with WUW in December 2024. We were gifted an incredible 25th-anniversary vow renewal, and it was the most special day of our lives.

We’re living. I know that’s what you want for us. Life is still beautiful, whether seen through clear eyes or teary ones. You’d be so proud of the kids. They become cooler and cooler humans the older they get. We love you. We miss you.

@kstonewriter I like the G2 too. Those were my husband’s favorite, and I actually started with one of his for writing this book. :) For me, it didn’t work as well for long writing sessions.

@kstonewriter I actually started with different pens, but my hand was getting sore. I then had these Pilot Precise V5s recommended to me. They’re fine tip and VERY smooth writing, so theoretically I don’t have to put in much effort. I LOVE them!

I’m writing this memoir draft by hand, & I just used up pen #2! (Also hit ~50k words, but the pen running dry is by far the more fun milestone.) I’m hitting difficult scenes more often as the story progresses. The writing is sometimes hard … and always worth it.

“No response necessary” gives me the freedom to reply with words, not reply at all, or, like I did tonight, give the message a simple ❤️ reaction. It’s a generous way to reach out, because the words are a true gift with nothing expected in return. 3/3

Sometimes I want to respond when people reach out. And some days, like today, those texts arrive at a time when I’m emotionally and physically spent, and I don’t have it in me to have a conversation. 2/

I got a sweet text from someone tonight, sharing something about Jason (my late husband). As she closed, she said “No response necessary.” And I realized how much I LOVE those words. 1/
