CCM has been selected by the state as one of only two community colleges to partner with the AI Hub at Princeton University and the New Jersey Council of County Colleges in training the workforce to be proficient in Artificial Intelligence (AI). Supported by the state’s first U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) – Registered Data Scientist AI Apprenticeship grant, CCM is positioned as a leader in preparing New Jersey’s workforce for proficiency in data science and artificial intelligence across a wide range of industries, covering tuition and fees for apprentices pursuing careers in these rapidly growing, high-demand fields, while apprentices also earn approximately $48,880 in wages during the on-the-job training. @NJCommColleges

We are #CCMProud to have celebrated the launch of a new Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Apprenticeship program, made possible through a partnership with CMC Steel and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (NJDOL). Thank you to everyone who helped make Data Science Night a success! Over 200 attendees came to learn more about #DataScience, a fast-growing, in-demand field. This event took place due to the commitment and support of our President Dr. Iacono, the Dean of the School of Business, Mathematics, Engineering and Technologies Virginia Rich, the Associate Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness Kelly Fitzpatrick, many faculty members and partners including 4-year institutions and industry partners.
