We saw this fanbase hound Erik Ten Hag out when he had horrendous injuries - lets not do the same to Ruben now. Other teams have injuries and players lost to Afcon's, but no team has 2 of the top 3 players at Afcon and 5 other starters injured - none. Our squad is thin, now we are down to the kids and most of them are NOT ready. The next few weeks are going to be hard, we are going to lose some games, during periods like this our job, as fans, is to support and encourage the team and hope we can grab a few wins along the way. The season goal was always European football and whilst some fans changed those expectations to "must get Champions league" I'm still in the camp of Europa League football will do - great competition for some of the younger players and squad players to get gametime. By the end of January all I hope we are still in the European spots or close.. I suspect when everyone is back we will have a great finish to the season Feb - May 🙏 Haters are gonna hate, journo's and content crestoes are gonna farm the shit out of negative engagement the next few weeks.
