Id like to commend Brian Cashman for building the worst bullpen Ive ever seen. Couldnt have built a worse one if he tried to on purpose.

@Jomboy_ They were up 4, bases loaded, 2nd inning, and other team’s starter at 70 pitches. They turned that into a 4-4 game and Yanks making the first pitching change of the game… so fast. With bad baseball in every facet of the game Their brand of baseball is just BAD.

I don’t even know how they even won this game with the rest of the bullpen. Offense has to have a 6 run inning. Not sure that’s in the cards though.

Just in this one game, Jazz forgot to cover 1st twice, popped up a 3-1 pitch in extras (when moving runner over was the goal), and bobbled the game ending non double play. He said he wanted to go 50/50 preseason and has 0 HR thru 9% of the season. He doesnt have the right stuff

The “run it back” Yanks look like a bunch of guys who got older and worse than the year before.

Why is Grichuk hitting there? You’re better off with Goldy. Why is Grichuk swinging first pitch? At this point, everyone is better off with Jasson as the fourth OF. Just finish his development in the majors. He could’ve had all of these Grichuk at bats.

Paul Goldschmidt is only allowed to sub in for 2nd best hitter on the team Ben Rice. Randall Grichuk? Hitting .000? Swing away!

Grisham/Chisholm/Wells/McMahon have over 150 plate appearances. Combined for .160 AVG, 0 HR, 9 RBI. Cant have just 1 superstar and this kind of support around him. Better pray the bats heat up when the weather does.

Great heart shown by this UConn team. Hurleys champ teams were riddled with 1st rd picks - this team has 1. They had no business being here. Will be back next year returning Demary, Ball, others. Shout out to Mike Nardi who scouted Mich and is a worthy replacement for L.Murray.

Credit to Michigan for winning a game unlike all its others. True champions win multiple ways. Bummer for UConn was the foul trouble for Ball, who was showing signs of breaking out of his shooting slump but they kept having to sit him.
