My conclusion: I'll stay on as an inactive node because the network matters, but I will not be actively using it. My great hope is that SOMEWHERE an NGO of altruistic investors is forming to buy Elon out and make Twitter a publicly owned, transparently governed utility.

I’ve been mulling over what my *personal* response to Twitter sale should be 🧵: I appreciate the “stay and fight” idea because this network is vital for a lot of important communities: advocates for under-represented voices, researchers, global south development work...
