Just popping in to say that you can't plan an entire #EYFS curriculum ahead of time because you have to respond to the children's individual needs and interests. Start with the child! 😘

In addition to the arrests made to prevent a breach of the peace in Tachbrook Street, we have made 10 arrests today for other offences. These include possession of offensive weapons, affray and possession of drugs.

UPDATE: Officers have arrested 82 people in Tachbrook Street, Pimlico to prevent a breach of the peace. They’re part of a large group of counter protestors we have been monitoring who have tried to reach the main protest march. We will continue to take action to avoid the disorder that would likely take place if that happened.

Hi all, Appraisal Round 3 starts this week. You’ll each be observed during a randomly chosen lesson and three members of SLT will spend 5 minutes in your room. Each one of them will grade your lesson differently and we will choose the lowest. Feedback will not be given. Thanks x

Tomorrow is World Mental Health Day. Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK experience mental health problems each year. It can happen to any of us. Mental health is everyone's concern. We need to get better at talking about this, better at listening & better at understanding.

Still seeing "academisation is inevitable/we have no alternative" argument coming through as conversions are sought, despite the fact that academy nos have been going up v slowly in recent years. Will this continue under Labour gov, with no current commitment to academisation?

Wait until the people upset about tooth brushing find out that practitioners have to change nappies in #EYFS because the phase runs from birth and 'care' is part of the statutory framework. 🤷‍♀️
