An officer replies that they are not currently questioning her. ​ ​The situation escalates further when Brockwell deliberately tries to injure herself. ​To prevent her from injuring herself further and to stop her from thrashing, the officers employ a hobble restraint (a device used to secure a suspect's legs). ​Brockwell screams at the top of her lungs, claiming that her arm is broken and dislocated, and complains that "five people against one person" is unfair for a 120-pound woman. ​Once her legs are successfully bound, officers roll her onto her stomach to secure the second handcuff, noting that her fingernail had broken off during the struggle. ​Emergency Medical Services (EMS) or the Fire Department are called to the scene to evaluate her. ​Brockwell faces multiple charges stemming from the initial road rage assaults and her subsequent violent resistance against law enforcement. This poor woman is done. The Southwest gate agent insisted her non-verbal, Autistic sons scan their own boarding passes, even after she explained they were unable to do it themselves. She just wants to go home and feels discriminated against. What should the airline do for her?
