As polls close, let me take the opportunity to thank all those who have supported me throughout this campaign. I have loved every moment of working with you all. Today, we’ve had the chance to turn the page on 14 years of Tory chaos. Tonight, as the results are counted, we will see if Labour are in the privileged position of being able to deliver that change. I’ve spent the last few weeks knocking doors across Cardiff West. From Pontyclun and Pentyrch, to Ely and Caerau. It’s clear that people want the Tories out. On Thursday, vote Welsh Labour to make a change! #VoteLabour 🌹

The stakes are too high for the livelihoods of Tata steelworkers and their families. No irreversible decisions should be made by Tata ahead of next Thursday’s general election. I urge all involved to sit down together and keep talking to find a resolution.

It’s been another busy week of campaigning in Cardiff West! We’ve been all over, including in Ely, Caerau, Fairwater, Canton, Llandaff, Riverside, Radyr and Pentyrch. Thanks to @KevinBrennanMP, @Eluned_Morgan and @CarwynJones, who joined us. 1/4

The Tories promised to electrify the South Wales mainline. It never happened. Now their pledge to electrify the North Wales mainline is already falling apart. Mark our words: Tory manifesto commitments over rail investment won't happen.
