What a year and this was a no brainer. He showed up week in and week out. The 3 wins are impressive. But 7 top 5’s and 6 top 3’s in 11 events is something very very special. Not done yet! We will see where he is heading for post season on Wednesday.

@Catamounts Hard to explain how good this day was from Jace. 41 degrees with a wind chill of 32. Wind blowing 20. Sideways rain. Dormant Bermuda that was standing water everywhere. Greens fast and firm and sloped. And he handled it all for a 2-shot win. Epic performance Jace!

Our WCU Player of the Week presented by @localforddealer is Tyler Jones from @CatamountMGolf ! Jones earned his second individual win of the 2025-26 season in the spring opener at the Compadres Collegiate. Jones fired a tournament-low final-round score of 66 to rally back and claim the individual title as WCU placed fifth as a team. He carded 15 total birdies – five per round – with the Eagle capping his comeback on Tuesday. Jones is the first Catamount men’s golfer to finish atop the individual leaderboard twice in the same season since 2017-18, as he's the first Catamount to claim sole medalist honors since JT Poston did so back in 2014-15 Jones and the Catamounts return to the links on Monday, February 16 in the Wexford Intercollegiate hosted by Francis Marion.

Another final hole Eagle for the win!! This guy has some moxy. Proud of the fight on a golf course where trouble is lurking on every shot. He kept his wits about him today, and grinded out an impressive 6-under 66 to come from behind. Well played TJ!!
