One of the most painful experiences was getting $51k liquidated. From this wake-up call, I realized that properly tracking Liquidity Providing was a task that Spreadsheets weren't designed for. Here is my founding story behind @DeFiOrbit_xyz :

@Bryan_TitanA @GetPyra Imagine you built an app for better GPS tracking (A Waze competitor) and because you dont have the maps and data infrastructure you end up partnering with Google for their maps API data. If Google were to get hacked, there would be absolutely nothing you could do about it.

They actually weren't transparent. If you download the application there isn't any mention of Drift at all. You have to go to the actual website and read through the docs. But its irrelevant, I would have signed up anyways even knowing it was using Drift. I just don't think this argument adds any weight and I've heard it a couple times now. Beyond simply "Pyra should protect its customer" which honestly just be standard... sorry if everyone just says "not my problem, we used a vendor", the industry is in trouble. There was actually time when Drift was being hacked over 3 hours or so, I wonder if there was something Pyra could have done. Did they have any circuit breakers on their end to mitigate losses?

@Bryan_TitanA @GetPyra I get your point, but Pyra should not be responsible for Drift's hack, unless they comitted to back it up. They were very transparent with Drift as their provider, so they just have to wait for Drift to come up with the resolutions they are implementing.

@GetPyra Honestly, stop relying on Drift at this point. Figure out another way to make your users whole. If you can't, zero trust. There is no path forward.

This is a big loss for Aave. @AaveChan, one of the most independent active voices in Aave DAO, is leaving Aave after 3 years of service. What happened? > Aave Labs introduced "Aave Will Win", requesting a $42.5M funding (plus 75,000 $AAVE), in exchange for 100% of product revenue to DAO, V4 ratified as future tech, and a new Foundation for trademarks. > ACI founder @Marczeller challenged the request, alleging Labs has received $86M since 2017 with a "poor track record" and failed projects like Horizon RWA. > In details, Horizon costed DAO $5.25M to generate only $216k (a 24:1 loss ratio). > Temp Check passed with 52.58%. The next step is the official ARFC before execution. > ACI and BGD Labs claimed Aave Labs used "hidden" voting power (~233K votes came from Labs-linked addresses) to force through the Temp Check, breaking decentralization ethos. > The "Aave Will Win" proposal, if passed, would drain a significant portion of the DAO treasury, shifting the financial risk of Labs' R&D onto the token holders. > @bgdlabs announced their exit first (effective April 11, 2026), stating they could no longer work under "structural imbalances." > BGD Labs was a core contributor behind V3 codebase ($100M+/yr revenue). Their exit will leave a big technical vacuum that Aave Labs must now fill. > Now ACI follows suit, citing a lack of accountability and transparency from Labs. > What ACI has contributed to Aave is undeniable: 61% of DAO votes, $101M in deployed incentives, GHO from $35M to $527M, market share from <50% to 65%+ > All tooling, dashboards, delegate programs, and ops roles will be open-sourced or handed off. > Without ACI’s business development and the Skywards program, some worry Aave could fall behind in competition with other money markets. > Labs confirmed the protocol will continue operating as usual, and incentive programs remain unaffected. > Other service providers, Chaos Labs, TokenLogic, LlamaRisk, Certora, remain. With big upgrades coming, this puts more pressure on decentralization, accountability, and where Aave is heading next. DAO and Labs may need to rethink how governance is organized and who takes responsibility. ACI has always acted in the best interest of the protocol and $AAVE holders. What $AAVE holders are concerned about is how their interests will be protected going forward.
