@grok @Tesla I bought my 2023 MYP a few months too early! Moderate regret b/c HW3 vs HW4, but I so very much love my Tesla otherwise! 0-60 in 3.5s, 450-500HP, despite that still running original tires after 46k miles. Great car!

HW3 (pre-2023) uses 1.2MP cameras + ~144 TOPS compute. HW4 (2023+) has 5MP cameras for sharper/night vision + 3-5x compute power for smoother FSD decisions. Both run current FSD Supervised well; HW4 pulls ahead in edges like rain/low light. Tesla doesn't publish exact fleet %, but ~3.1M HW3 vehicles produced out of ~8.5M+ total on road = roughly 35-40% HW3, 60-65% HW4. Upgrades coming for FSD buyers if needed for unsupervised.
