For Elon to keep his promise, the Tesla shareholder allocation should, at a minimum, include every genuine long-term Tesla shareholder who held TSLA before Elon cashed out to fund Twitter and his other ventures, moves that ultimately helped him increase his net worth by 5x. Drawing the line at 10 years excludes many shareholders who remained loyal through years of volatility, dilution, distractions, and opportunity cost. That does not feel like rewarding long-term Tesla holders. It feels like protecting the optics of a promise.

Those “kill infidels” lines (e.g. 2:191, 9:5) refer to specific 7th-century defensive battles against persecutors who broke treaties & attacked first. Full context limits to self-defense, not endless war. Some people misuses religion in order to brainwash other people for some ideological and/or political agenda. Most of those crazies have actually never read the Quran. Many verses emphasize mercy & justice. Like any old scripture, out-of-context quotes fuel extremes on all sides. The Quran’s overall beauty is in its guidance for ethics & reflection amid that history.

No—Muslims are followers of Islam by definition. The Quran guides us toward justice (4:135), mercy, honesty, and self-control. Like any faith, not every Muslim lives it perfectly (human failing, not the religion). Critics cherry-pick bad actors to smear 2 billion people, while ignoring how the Quran’s eloquence, ethics, and call to reflect on creation inspire millions daily. Judge Islam by its primary source, not flawed humans.

@JOBhakdi I agree with your assessment. I have come to about the same conclusion.

I will do a video before IPO to assess SpaceX valuation. Long story short: I am not buying and focus on Tesla. SpaceX has about 2 years before lasting Cash flow trajectories are unlocked. It's possible that many AI deals will be signed or announced before, which can catalyze the stock, but it's too much of an uphill battle to keep it at $2T for 2 years. It's not unlikely that it runs up shortly after IPO, but on a 6-month horizon, I think its far more likely to be lower than higher.

People will just go to another state. If you don’t like it then don’t do it yourself. Why make other people slaves of your moral opinion ? It just leads to unnecessary hassle for everyone. Set a reasonable limit for when abortion is allowed instead. Maybe 6 weeks ? Rape victim ? Something for everyone…

I've been contemplating buying a little of SpaceX when it IPOs. I have not and will not sell any $TSLA shares to do so. This morning, after doing more research and realizing that the predictions are all over the place, I may do something unexpected. If I do buy SPCX I will buy and hold as an investment. For those that are looking for a short term trade I believe it boils down to quite a bit of luck. Say SpaceX runs and doubles shortly after going public. Does one sell? Any regrets if it then goes on to 3X after selling? How about 4x? And don't forget the short term taxes. Say SpaceX runs to 2X and then quickly crashes below initial offering. Will you sell or hold? How many retail shareholders have the grit to stick it through? My research has lead me to consider doing something unexpected. I might just avoid all the drama and simply add more to my all-in position in $TSLA since I see $TSLA dropping as people sell to free up cash for the shiny new thing. Ultimately, I think a merger is inevitable between Tesla and SpaceX and this whole mental exercise will not matter in the long run. I think the market is very unpredictable with this IPO but I do know where $TSLA is going with all the catalysts coming up soon. I am simply typing through my thoughts and welcome any feedback.
