Year 5 spent the afternoon creating chocolate tiffins! We are looking forward to tasting them tomorrow!

Felix held a “Minibeast Sale” to raise awareness about mini beasts, to increase biodiversity in the school grounds and to collect money for our PTA. We love how he’s taken his passion to make a difference to others and our environment. @DGATSCHOOLS #courageousadvocacy

Year 2 went on a rather damp local area walk for Geography fieldwork this morning but we still enjoyed getting out and about using maps despite the weather! @DGATSCHOOLS

Year 2 enjoyed their visit from Atique the @uniofglos Islam Chaplain today who shared his experiences of living life as a Muslim. The children were so knowledgeable and had lots of questions to ask. @DGATSCHOOLS

Year 3 led a Music Assembly today about perseverance through learning an instrument. It was lovely to see pupils keen to perform in front of the whole school at such a young age! @DGATSCHOOLS

Y2 enjoyed an afternoon being taught by History students from @uniofglos learning about @FloellaBenjamin and her experience of “Coming to England.” @DGATSCHOOLS

Year 2 loved their visit to @TheWilsonChelt this week to take part in a polar workshop and visit “The Frozen Continent” special exhibition all about Edward Wilson which is on until 18th February-we recommend you visit! @DGATSCHOOLS

Some children in UKS2 created animal portraits to help some of the dogs and cats @cheltenhampets find their forever homes 🐾 What an amazing act of kindness as part of our ongoing courageous advocacy as a school 💕 🐶 🐱

We had great fun creating a sand volcano and eruption at lunchtime today @OPAL_CIC

Pupils have loved all the activities teachers have planned for our Geography Awareness Week…each class recapped key learning on UK countries, seas and world continents and oceans before focusing on a different continent in each year group. @DGATSCHOOLS

Year 2 video called Matt Neill, Captain of RRS Sir David Attenborough, who is currently in South Georgia on their way to Antarctica. @BAS_News The children asked brilliant questions to finish our topic on polar regions.

Year 6 have thoroughly enjoyed making their sock monkey creations in DT this week. Their sewing skills have been really impressive! 🧵🪡

We have completed our “Peace Chain” as part of @HelpPicture Christmas Campaign. Children added their reflections and joined it together as part of our prayer wall. It has measured at 21 metres! @glosdiocschools @DGATSCHOOLS
