CUPE 2073, which represents workers at Canadian Hearing Services, are on strike at CHS offices and Conservative MPP offices across Ontario. ✊🏾📢 This is the second strike at CHS under the leadership of Julia Dumanian – a boss who has given herself over 178 per cent in wage increases over nine years. In that same period, workers’ wages have gone up just 12 per cent. ‼️ While Dumanian takes home $340,250 every year, workers’ paycheques have lost significant buying power, falling 16 per cent behind inflation. This small group of workers has an outsized impact, delivering critical programs for thousands of Deaf and hard of hearing Ontarians. And they need your help!
