Lore behind the name 🎬 EPISODE 10. @SolanaMarko • What’s the story behind your name? - It's pretty simple - my name is Marko, and at some point Solana stopped being just a thing I was working on and building around and became the thing I was building my identity around. So the two just merged. No separation between the person and the mission. • What would you highlight right now among the things you’re building and consider truly important? - Three things, honestly. First - the @colosseum hackathon pipeline. Getting real builders to actually ship on @solana in the Balkans, not just attend events. That's the core. Second - Solana Summit Serbia in August. We're co-organizing the biggest crypto event in the region, 500+ people, Sava Centar in Belgrade. But the real bet is positioning it beyond crypto - fintech, AI, TradFi speakers in the same room as web3 builders. That crossover is where something interesting happens. Third - breaking out of the bubble. The Balkans has serious talent that has no idea Solana exists. Getting to those people - FAANG devs, university researchers, TradFi folks - that's the long game.
