Bob Lazar on the craft's propulsion system: "They cut into the reactor while it was under load, and the reactor exploded. That's what killed or hurt the person I replaced." "I tried to touch it. You can push down but you can't get close to it. The closer you get, the more it pushes back. At some point you can't push back on it at all, but it didn't move away when you pushed on it. It just prevented you from touching it."

It’s day 33 of the war, and my hometown is still being heavily bombed. Iranians are only now, with great difficulty, realizing that for all these years, they have essentially been living inside a massive military base the size of a country. They’re finally understanding why Iran, despite all its resources, has remained so poor: because all the money has been spent preparing the regime for its apocalyptic final war. None of this is defensive. It’s all offensive. After every strike, Israel posts reports in Persian explaining exactly what it has hit. The main reason for cutting off the internet is so that people won’t see or understand what’s really happening. Underground missile cities, bunkers built beneath residential neighborhoods, tunnels upon tunnels upon tunnels. It’s horrifying. This regime must go. #IranWar#ThankYouTrump

The human brain processes visual information 60,000x faster than text. Humans are visual processors, not text processors. Images hit the brain instantly. Words take work. That's why a single SpaceX launch video communicates more than a thousand-word essay—and why your slide decks hit harder than paragraphs. We're wired for pictures, not prose.

🧠 The 60,000x figure is widely cited but the actual neuroscience is more interesting than the number. Visual processing engages the primary visual cortex, the ventral stream for object recognition, and the dorsal stream for spatial processing simultaneously and in parallel. Text processing is sequential and serial, running through Broca's and Wernicke's areas one symbol at a time. The real mechanism: the brain evolved for 300 million years responding to visual threat and opportunity before written language existed for roughly 5,000 years. Visual processing is hardwired at the architecture level. Reading is software installed on hardware that wasn't designed for it. This is why a single image can activate an emotional response in 13 milliseconds faster than conscious awareness. You feel the picture before you know you've seen it .!

To those speaking of iran's infrastructure being destroyed as a consequence of this war: Let’s talk about your staggering hypocrisy. When they set the Rasht market ablaze with our people trapped inside, your heart didn't bleed. You felt absolutely nothing for the innocent lives burning to ash. But now that a bridge in Karaj gets blown to pieces, suddenly you want to weep over "Iranian infrastructure"? Let me tell you exactly what kind of bridge this was. It was never meant for us. Not a single civilian has ever set foot on it. It wasn't even open to the public. It was a phantom structure, built for one reason and one reason only: to connect two IRGC military bases and serve as a direct, covert artery to an underground missile city. It was carved right behind the Azimiyeh mountains, stretching west toward Radar Mountain. God only knows what dark, malignant operations these terrorists are hiding in the tunnels beneath that rock. In short: it was a pure military asset for an occupying terror syndicate. So yes, when I saw the sky light up with that explosion, I cheered. I watched their concrete shatter, and I smiled. Because it meant only one thing: another massive, crippling blow to the terror machine of the Islamic Republic that holds my country hostage. You can mourn the rubble of their military bases all you want. When this occupation is finally eradicated, we will build our own bridges.

Striking civilian structures, including unfinished bridges, will not compel Iranians to surrender. It only conveys the defeat and moral collapse of an enemy in disarray. Every bridge and building will be built back stronger. What will never recover: damage to America's standing.

BIG DAY! Qwopus 27B v3 is LIVE from Jackrong! This is the third iteration from the line of the viral finetunes previously titled “Qwen3.5-27B-Claude-4.6-Opus-Reasoning-Distilled” It is now simply Qwopus 27B and I love the name change! On paper, the v3 is another remarkable improvement over v2! Most impressively it is the first model of the series that outperforms the base on HumanEval! And retains significant efficiency increases when thinking than the base Qwen 27b! According to tests by @stevibe the V2 version was already performing very closely to the base model in bug finding and tool calling. V3 should exceed it! In my own tests, V2 was the best front end design local model I’ve ever ran on a single GPU! And the efficiency improvements made it much more usable at long contexts, where base Qwen would think forever! I will be running full analysis on the v3 today in Hermes agent and I am very optimistic! I have also had correspondence directly with Jackrong, and he is incredibly grateful for all of the support we’ve sent his way! The man is a genius and pouring a lot of time and effort into this work, so keep the downloads going and let us know your thoughts in the comments! We’ve exchanged contact info so we can keep up the feedback and momentum! If you get a second, we’d love to see your tests! Let us know how it works for your use case and first impressions, and if you have any issues I will do my best to help out in the comments! GGUF here and MLX in thread! huggingface.co/Jackrong/Qwopu…

@KobeissiLetter For as long as the same theocracy and its death cult minions are planning to build weapons and destabilize the world, interference in trade routes, while also mistreating or eliminating real Iranians, we should not be interested in the words of such madness.

BREAKING: Iran's President Pezeshkian has officially released an "open letter" to the American people. The letter states: 1. Iran harbors "no enmity" toward other nations, including the people of America, Europe, or neighboring countries 2. Recent US actions are "aggression" targeting civilians and infrastructure, setting up for long-term global instability 3. "What Iran has done, and continues to do, is a measured response grounded in legitimate self-defense" 4. The decision to withdraw from the Iran Nuclear Deal was "made by the US government" 5. "Continuing along the path of confrontation is more costly and futile than ever before" Pezeshkian concludes by saying, "the choice between confrontation and engagement is both real and consequential. Throughout its millennia of proud history, Iran has outlasted many aggressors." We now await Trump's address to the US at 9 PM ET.

the privacy implications are more interesting than the profanity part. logging keyword patterns across sessions means Anthropic has behavioral fingerprints on every user. not just what you asked, but how you phrase things when frustrated, what triggers you to use certain words, how your language changes over time. the source code existing in public doesn't change that. it just confirms it.
