A friend of ours was like “hey my ducks laid eggs can I leave the eggs with you while I’m gone for a month” and we were like sure why not. And now there are a lot of baby ducks here and we have literally no idea what we’re doing.

@bryan_johnson I think it's worth interrogating how the DD approach relates to parenting, freedom, and children's development through play. Helicopter parenting seems like a DD approach to parenting but its a killer. Free play involves many risks but the benefits are ultimately greater.
