Tara Motarity has confirmed our fears. Most provinces are only reporting about 20% of covid deaths.Maybe even less.Which suggests the deaths are close to 5 times to 6+ times the reported figures.Nova Scotia has reported 270 so far this year. It's actually 1,325-1,700 so far.

My apologies for being gone folks. Its been a very busy couple of months on my end. Between private college and moving into a new apartment. But here is the Covid-19 update for Nova Scotia covering June and July. We will quickly release the update for the months of aug and sep.

Reported 30 days ago…..70 cases of Measles at one hospital group in Virginia. There were signs posted on the glass doors upon entry stating the case number and symptoms of Measles. The recommendation was “Wash Your Hands.” What was not listed was to Wear A Tight Fitting Mask…KN95 Or Better….because the sight of masks is scarier than MEASLES, COVID, or any other airborne transmitted deadly diseases.🙄 BTW…I walked through the campus and not a single Mask of any type was in sight. As I was holding the door, one of the oncology patients told the nurse who was wheeling him into the office…”I probably should wear a mask.” Her reply was…”You don’t have to…none of us are wearing one Hun.”

‘The media, following the lead of the federal government, has largely moved on from reporting the ongoing effects of the pandemic.’ ‘LongCOVID reduced earnings by nearly a trillion dollars, significantly contributing to the relatively slow economic growth over the past 2 years.’

A-level results are out in the UK. Record numbers of students got their first choice university place. Politicians call this a “success story.” But how is this possible when SARS-CoV-2 has been repeatedly disrupting education and damaging brain health? 🧠🧵

Surging aggression. Language delays. Developmental issues. Teachers & parents report major changes in children Lockdowns are often blamed. But many lockdowns were short (e.g. UK) So what else changed in early childhood since 2020? I’m a neurologist. Let's talk COVID & brains🧵 pic.twitter.com/Yq9Mc7FKyZ

SARS-CoV-2 and HIV-1 both cause CD4⁺ T cell loss, cytokine storms, and immune exhaustion. Shared mechanisms—like pyroptosis and inhibitory receptor upregulation—suggest overlapping therapeutic targets. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC96…

This is my son in Sweden and untold numbers of other children around the world, with more joining them every day.😢 Is this what you wanted to protect the children from @ludvigsson?

‘LongCOVID is the largest mass disabling event in human history, and it’s still ongoing. Each time you get COVID, every system in your body is wrecked more and more, and your chances of longCOVID increase dramatically.’ ‘Everybody should be a lot more cautious than they are.’

This 26 year old man developed long covid last year after his "5th or 6th" confirmed infection. He had recovered from COVID uneventfully the first 4 or 5 times. He's now unable to work or even read. If COVID continues to spread unchecked, then we should assume that eventually many, or perhaps even most people, will be disabled from long COVID.

It's so much easier for Trump to do this because Biden abandoned Americans to the ongoing pandemic. Media and the CDC were used tactically to promote this message and now we see the natural progression for those policies.

I wrote about Republicans’ efforts to restrict access to COVID vaccines, and how this aligns with ongoing efforts to claim that COVID is the problem of a few “vulnerable” individuals, rather than a collective public health crisis. Read here: thegauntlet.news/p/republicans-…

@dummybrainy @Sharms1856 @Jenny101631011 @JPWeiland NB.1.8.1 will likely outcompete XFG unless acquiring more mutations. PQ.2 (NB.1.8.1.2) has an additional mutation in ORF3a, which could help it evade T-cells, further eroding immune response, potentially making it more severe. It's too early to know for sure. Watching closely.

@COVID19_disease It's looking increasingly likely that there will be a significant summer surge as NB.1.8.1, XFG, and now PQ.2 (NB.1.8.1.2) spread.

NB.1.8.1 and its subvariant children, PQ.1 and PQ.2, global spread animated by @Mike_Honey_ . Especially concerned about PQ.2, with ORF3a mutation. Watching for increased severity, change of symptoms, and studies showing impact on T-cells.
Mike Honey@Mike_Honey_

Here's an animated map showing the spread of the NB.1.8.1 variant, and it’s child variants PQ.1 and PQ.2. The first sample was reported in England in January, but judging from it’s early spread, the origin was likely an undersampled region in Asia. 🧵

If you once masked “to protect the vulnerable” and then you stopped at some point, you prioritized personal comfort and social convenience over community care. And quite honestly, over other peoples’ lives. What’s worse is you refuse to admit it. Even to yourselves.

This one took off on tiktok. The comments section is pretty grim though. I guess it's not much different than here but leftists are happily regurgitating rightwing talking points. I'm glad my video is reaching these people. It gives me even more motivation to make more.
PACO@PacoOnPause

I'm surprised that so many leftists threw in the towel on masking..
