Plus not giving Williams $17M/year allows the Yankees to reallocate that money at the deadline. Win-win for both, I guess?

I honestly don’t give two flying shits how good McLean is if Schlittler becomes that guy for the Yankees. We as baseball fans should be hoping both these guys become legit aces for their respective teams because that would be what’s best for everyone.
