The US is by far the U.K.’s biggest trading partner by country. There. Easily put right.
Alex Taylor@AlexTaylorNews
"The US is by far the UK's biggest trading partner" says Shadow Trade Min @griffitha👇 This is just a BLATANT LIE but as ever in UK media, on Europe, it's waved by, unchallenged 2024 figures EU (which only operates as a SINGLE MARKET) 49% 🇬🇧exports/60% 🇬🇧imports USA = 22%/13%

@GlowstoneKatie @Conservatives 51% majority is the irrevocable will of the people, according to the last government, and labour won by more than that. Or are we saying conservatives have double standards?
English

@Conservatives Democracy and elections also “naughty”
English

@jdpoc So water cannons, gas and violence for left wing people blocking roads, hand jobs and foot rubs for right wing millionaires grinding the city to a halt?
English

@hall_2024 @clairebubblepop The right hand consistently voted for reduced salaries for NHS staff, forcing them into food banks. The right forced staff to work. That they won't do it for their millionaire farmers is telling.
English

@clairebubblepop Since when did the right not care about people using food banks?Stop trying to label conservative people as evil. You conflate 2 different subjects to try and prove your point. It makes no sense. They don't withhold food. They just can't produce as much when the land is gone.

Andrew, it's not just about numbers - it's about the quality of growth. More homes in the South doesn't solve the systemic issues plaguing the North. We need investment in infrastructure, social equality and tech to balance the scales. If we don't address the root causes, we’re just shifting the problem around. #LevellingUp #HousingCrisis #EconomicGrowth #Accountability #FutureOfPolitics
English

Labour wants London and the south east of England to build far more homes than it proposed in the summer — while the targets for other regions have reduced.
So much for levelling up.
Labour sees house building as its main way of increasing economic growth. In that case growth will be largely a southern phenomenon. Sorry the North.
To meet the 1.5 million new homes number by the end of the parliament England needs 370,000 new homes on average each year. Not going to happen.
English

@Conservatives You complained that you couldn't course correct from the last government after 14 years, and you expect them to do it in half a year? Are you lying, incompetent, or think British people will swallow your bollocks?
English

@NorthstarCharts @KinesisMonetary Sorry, asked before, are you on threads or anything? Your content is the only thing I've kept twitter for but now likely going to delete.

#Bitcoin - Critical resistance should be tested - Above that, rocketships await (even bigger rocketships for #Altcoins).

Northstar@NorthstarCharts
BITCOIN - IT'S LIKE THIS... ✅ Neutral/bearish until above the resistance line. ✅ VERY bullish above critical resistance. ✅ NO need to front-run. ✅ Remain unbiased. Ignore narratives. Control emotion. #Crypto #Bitcoin #Altcoins #Blockchain

@NorthstarCharts @KinesisMonetary Do you post on threads? Likely deleting twitter!

@JeremyVineOn5 As long as the Westminster bar is subsided, subsidise this.
English

@afneil Hangover from the conservatives. Why did you never comment about this when they were in power and you could have helped?

UK government borrowing £6.7bn more so far this financial year than was forecast by the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR).
Public sector net borrowing excluding banks stood at £79.6bn in the six months to September, which was £1.2bn more the same point last year.
For the month of September, total public sector net borrowing was £16.6bn, which was lower than expectations of £17.5bn; but £1.2bn more than a year ago and third biggest September deficit since records began in 1993.
Public borrowing for August was revised down from £13.7bn to £13bn.
Public sector net debt excluding public sector banks reached around 98.5pc of UK GDP.

@DrEilidhMaria I mean, it's what the people voted for for 14 years.

@AdamBienkov I call for the defunding and disbanding of the conservative party if they fail to meet the traditional conservative policies and values as defined at party inception.

@The3rdFrame @afneil @TimesRadio Better ask whether he's ever stayed at a friend's, and whether he's declared that as a gift. If he hasn't, hes a massive biased hypocrite.
English

@afneil @TimesRadio Hand on heart Andrew, have you ever taken a freebie?
