Right after Naver bought out @Official_Upbit, one of the first things they announced is a massive $7B investment into AI and blockchain-based financial infra. It seems that LINE is more serious about their web3 expansion than their competitors. Naver’s South Korean stablecoin project is underreported in the crypto media, and you may have missed that they are building a stablecoin wallet project in Busan. > With this investment we may see Agentic AI enter the stablecoin space with a strong start. We’ve seen neobanks implement AI like this by moving away from confusing interfaces towards using NLP to understand user intents and send transactions. Taking the @OpenAI-style approach when interacting with the stablecoin space would be a leap forward in onboarding users with zero crypto knowledge, especially among the older population. Their current position with the LINE messenger is huge. South Korea could see one of the fastest crypto adoption rates coming from this merger, especially if it’s properly catalysed by AI.

PolkaVM and the Polkadot Hub are incredible new additions to the Polkadot ecosystem that, in my opinion, really embrace what web3 should be about. As an industry we've been stuck reinventing the wheel for far too long.
