I joined @Sflecce and @lornecoe for a site tour of Ontario’s Small Modular Reactor construction site at the Darlington Energy Complex, alongside Germany’s Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Katherina Reiche.

On behalf of Scarborough Centre, MPP Smith stands in solidarity with all those impacted during this difficult time and extends his condolences to the grieving families and friends across the nation.

His thoughts are with the families and loved ones of the pilots who lost their lives, as well as all passengers and crew affected. He also extends gratitude to the first responders for their swift action.

MPP David Smith expresses his deepest sympathies following the tragic Air Canada incident at LaGuardia Airport, which resulted in the loss of two Canadian pilots. He is deeply saddened by this heartbreaking event.
