@FUTDonkey That why you are contradicting yourself and biased. Romario had few shit show/ quite games in 94, Kempes ‘78 good in like 3 games but they’re on your list cos scored in others. Yet R9 was crucial for Brazil in 4-5 out of 7 especially after semi,but that’s just goalscoring lol

@DdsForza Again if the metric is just goalscoring then we can make a different list. R9 scored 2 goals vs Germany and yet for example Romário’s performance with 0 goals vs USA was MUCH better. Theres more to football than goals.

@DdsForza After Brazil went down to 10 men, he actually did pretty much nothing, he was also really quite bad vs Belgium. If the objective is just goalscoring then he can't rank above Muller 70 or Fontaine 58.

@FUTDonkey I also watched all in full & every World Cuo since ‘82. Without him Brazil likely went to pk with Germany & even Turkey. Even the game vs England he did not score, drew 2-3 defenders everytime near the box & ease off pressure as played w/ 10 for 35 mins. Imo deserve top 5

@DdsForza Yeah if you look at football as number of goals scored then sure whatever Fontaine GOAT campaign. I watched all 7 games in full, he was probably not even better than Ronaldinho in that campaign. He was bad in 2/4 KO games, the final despite scoring 2 goals is also nothing special
