Jane Hume says there’s lots to learn from yet another huge Labor landslide win in SA but
“I think the biggest msg is that Aus is looking for change”🤔
Yes when a jurisdiction reelects the same govt with an even bigger majority - it wants change. Has Hume ever made sense? #auspol
@ABC_Australia @abcnews must never allow lobbyist organised email campaigns determine editorial policy.
Great to see and hear John Lyons back on air. Nobody does it better.
My partner and I just got a rescue cat, and I can honestly say it's the most life-affirming thing I've ever done. In just a few days, this little angel has gone from timid and hiding under the bed, to boldly sitting at the top of the stairs where she can survey all, or cuddling us like we've known each other a decade. We know she's had some abuse. With us she'll have nothing but patience, love and treats for as long as she lives.
If South Australians wanted change, Jane, they would not have handed Labor such a massive majority.
The people looking for change are former Liberal voters who have abandoned your party.
That's a 'you' problem Jane.
After a lifetime of working in feminism to prevent rape and violence, we didn’t think dying in a global nuclear holocaust to stop a rapist going to jail was gonna be how this would all play out, but here we fucking-well are …

Today the Australian government ruled out a 25%tax on gas exports. It's absolutely disgraceful that most of our gas is exported practically for free and we have to buy it back at exorbitant prices. Our politicians are owned by BIG BUSINESS and we suffer the consequences.
Australia Institute polling shows an overwhelming majority of Australians across the political spectrum support a gas export tax.
As well as raising billions, it would also give companies a big incentive to divert gas to Australians!

"If the major parties want to have majority support in Australia, it's time for them to support issues like a tax on gas that a majority of Australians support."

Pauline Hanson and One Nation are now refusing to appear on the ABC altogether, cos they're too scared to face tough questions.
This reminds me of the time Tony Abbott banned his ministers from appearing on Qanda. No ticker.

Ivana Trump passed away on July 14, 2022, after falling down the stairs, just one day before she was scheduled to testify in a civil investigation into the Trump Organization’s finances.
Doesn’t seem coincidental at all… 👀
@DebFOPA@DelattreMia 😹.. they’re so cheeky! They love teasing my cats! They wander into my house & leave their calling card before making their get away 😹..!
You literally cannot make this up. The Prime Minister's Chief of Staff had his phone "stolen" with all his messages to Lord Mandelson, and conveniently there is ZERO backup. They are treating the public like absolute fools.
