One candidate for president plays politics with the hurricane, spreads dangerous disinformation about the hurricane, and repeatedly lies about what the government is & isn’t doing. The other candidate for president does what she can to help facilitate federal assistance to hurricane survivors and the impacted communities. Should be an easy choice on Nov 5th.

This was a tedious, painstaking, brutal article to research and write. It was hard to listen to Fr. Ripperger drone on for hours about demons, conspiracy theories and his superstitious worldview.
But people (especially bishops) need to be informed.

This suggests to me (along with the feedback I’m getting from many directions) that a lot of US Catholics are fed up with being told that there’s only one right way to vote in every election, that voting any other way is a sin, etc.
