how we feeling about these? #gamedev #gamedeveloper I created a shader that adds fake depth to the tile background, but i'm afraid that it looks too distracting and stuttery even on the very subtle one. But maybe that's just me. Not sure theres fix cause its tiny pixelart

@Calamity616 I had the same impression. Tbh I felt the visuals were distracting. I don't judge Devin because I understand hr made it on a tight budget, but it really didn't add anything, imho.

Just went to see Devin Townsend's first "The Moth" performance. Boy, is he gonna get a lot of shit over that AI video accompanying it when he streams it tomorrow. Which is a shame because with the orchestra and choir, I do think he did exceptionally. It was a wonderful show

@szspagna @XorDev Same, forums were great. Sadly they seem to not have kept up with the times. Maybe if they were more visually attractive, with an app that feeds you most recent replies in a discord-like manner. Im sure there's a niche for reinvention there.

@XorDev I just miss regular forums with regular posts. Old school blogs too, though Substack is close. Discord feels very Reddit-ish, though less extreme. Great voice comms, though.
