Suggestion for editors: Video edits with captions like "This is not Japan", "This is not China" or "This is not Switzerland" etc. are a form of colonial hangover. It feels as though Western countries have shaped our psyche so much that we feel gratified by comparing ourselves to something perceived as superior. These may go viral as a subtle push if we post the same content with different captions, without the comparisons.. in a more casual manner, I guess. Using comparison-based captions makes it seem like we are trying very hard to be noticed by everyone. I am not denying that those countries arent great, but constantly mentioning them doesn't really achieve what we are trying...
