This is Anastasiia Yalanskaya 🇺🇦 She was killed yesterday, just outside Kyiv, delivering supplies to a dog shelter that was without food for 3 days The car she was in was targeted at close range Yalanskaya stayed behind in Kyiv to volunteer as everyone fled around her

@DptHatcher Probably a good idea to wait! Honestly, changing my last name with the government was easier than the PT licensure process. Just go on a rainy, midweek morning. 😅

@leg12 Okay thanks so much for the advice! Yeah I was getting ready to initiate the process of changing my last name when we got word about Texas so I am waiting for all that now 😂

@DptHatcher Check out the local hospital websites for postings too! Soon as possible. It took me 6 weeks from submitting to having my license # (they did everything by snail mail) - NM had a REALLY hard time with my degree being in my maiden name and original PT license being married name

@leg12 I’ve been looking on LinkedIn lots but only found a handful of Hospital based jobs. I’ll be sure to check out Indeed too. Thank you!! How soon do you recommend starting the license application/transfer process? I move in mid April

Is it bad/weird that I feel lost and confused already as a physical therapist? Part of it is burn out I think, but I feel like I don’t think having to work towards now that I’m graduated and working full time. Thoughts and opinions welcome with ways to help/change this.

It’s the little victories, right!? I started working in May and committed to trying to put money towards my loans as I could, while still paying for my upcoming wedding, despite loan payment delay from Covid. As of today, I have all the interest on my loans paid off 👏🏽👏🏽

@chananagins18 Dot phrases/smart phrases are my best friend so use them if your documenting server has them. I also try to keep a document of words and phrases I use a lot so I can reference it when I can’t think of what I want to say.

The anti-mask/anti-vaccine rhetoric is so exhausting to me as a healthcare worker. I go to work every day to see my patients. I got my vaccine and put on my mask to protect YOU. And all I'm asking is you do the bare minimum to protect our community. I am so damn tired!!!!
