Glorious morning. Gobbled once, followed a hen. I had one shot a 35 yards. Was able to avoid some brush and bramble and down he went.

@BodenAndrew5832 I hunt in southeastern Iowa been coming out there for 25 years. EHD has cut the deer herd in half there also.

@DwayneMathews3 Lol. We rarely do here in Iowa but have had a couple days where it was needed. Hoping to again if we recover more from ehd.

@DwayneMathews3 I carry around a handful of adjustable loops I call cheaters that I make with paracord and a couple extra carabiners. Use em on the bigger antlers and then they hold tighter to the pack and don’t swing as much. Frees up my shed totes for the smaller ones.
