8b. I always hated that about crypto. Taught not to say your first name, always an alias, don't "let anyone in" and all that. If it works for you then you do you. But i'm happy for people to know that despite my alias in discord/TG of #King - I'm also Matthew. Nice to meet you.

8. Show your face. Only if you feel comfortable, only if you feel safe, with trusted people. I always have my camera on in the many discord calls and groups i'm in daily. I like to see who i'm talking to. See how much rapport escalates when you look at each other.

7. Watch your stress levels. If you're too stressed, step away. Do some grounding - talk to a trusted IRL friend or loved one. A problem shared is a problem halved. Remember its only money.

6b. No matter how much of a crypto veteran you may think you are, there was a day where you weren't. Everyone starts somewhere. I built DCG in 2021 with the goal to make a safe, inclusive, where everyone was equal, and fun community. And we (not I) did it.

6. Find communities you feel welcome in. Inclusive communities with zero tolerance to discrimination. That don't ridicule people for asking simple questions because they are new to crypto. Help people if they need advice (if you have the headspace).

5. Stay hydrated. It's easy to forget about the last time you had a glass of water if you've been watching a chart, patiently awaiting mint time etc. etc. etc.

4. Trust is hard earned and easily lost. Find the good people in this space, trust your gut when it comes to bad actors. Stay diligent. Find your tribe. Run financial decisions past people you trust and look up to. Keep the good people close. Know the meaning of integrity.

3. Time is the most valuable resource we have. Not money. You can recoup losses and make money back. But you'll never get time back. It's easy to isolate and become a bit of a hermit in crypto. Don't forget about your friends, family and be mindful of your time spent at the PC.

2. FOMO is a motherfucker. "Wish i'd have held / Why didn't I sell / Why didn't I buy" are all just 'what if' scenarios. That level of anxiety knows no end. There's no resolution really, other than feeling shit about a missed opportunity. There will always be more opportunities.
