I am ashamed to admit that I once gave Viktor Orban the benefit of the doubt.
He was once a brave young anti communist activist who represented the idealism of the post Soviet era.
Early in his government, he led important conservative reforms, and offered a much needed counterbalance in the EU to the Brussels elites on uncontrolled migration, woke extremism, etc..
I have friends who have served in his government who I believe to be decent, principled people.
But in recent years he has morphed into a lackey of Moscow and Beijing.
His obsessive attacks on Ukraine are odious. He is pathetically clinging to power by demonizing the poor people of Ukraine, victims of Putin’s murderous war to restore the Russian Empire.
He has tragically become what he once fought against: a corrupt authoritarian.
Hopefully the proud Hungarian people will soon end this humiliation.

FYI a nuclear suicide vest isn’t feasible due to basic physics.
Nuclear explosions require critical mass, which means slamming the particles together. It needs space, so containers are large & heavy.
This isn’t limited by tech. It’s limited by physics and reality.
