Mentored by Mathilda, an Educate! trainer, Sharon learned to save & manage profits. Over time, she saved 13,000 KES (USD $85) from her small shop. By reinvesting her savings, Sharon grew her stock—adding household items & clothes. This attracted more customers & increased sales.

This training is strengthening their ability to: • Oversee implementation of competency-based learning • Support the integration of digital tools in line with national standards • Monitor the delivery of practical, project-based learning aligned with national assessments

Ward Education Officers play a critical role in strengthening teaching and learning. Through regular school visits, they monitor implementation of national education policies and provide guidance to Head Teachers and subject teachers.

In Tanzania, educators are advancing the revised Business Studies syllabus to help students build practical skills for employment and entrepreneurship — as steps toward becoming job creators through hands-on learning and real-world experience.

Last week, @EducateOrg, in partnership with @TIE_Tanzania and @ortamisemitz, supported a one-day digital skills training for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) teachers. ICT teachers across Tanzania strengthened their practical digital skills and AI literacy.
