Sorry, no coverage this weekend, wanted to stop by and give some thoughts, though. OSU is thin, no question, and that has played a factor. But, beyond that, JMO, we lose games like today, which are games won and lost on the margins, because we strike out too much, and walk too many hitters.  The last 4 runs in the 5-run inning started with a 2-run lead and no one on, and we walked the hitter like we were pitching scared. Until we solve those 2 equations, this team will continue to be explosive, but super inconsistent. Again. Injuries have been bad, but that just means you need to be that much better at all the “marginal” parts of the game. Last 2 games OSU 32 Ks Gave up 16 walks KU 16 Ks Gave up 7 walks #gopokes #okstate

Walkoff again for BYU...Wow! By a hitter who was only in the game because he had to pinch run earlier in the game. Unbelievable! Bottom line, again, you HAVE to KEEP scoring, you can't leave a scrappy team like BYU hangin' around like we did. That was a HUGE swing game too, because being 4-5, and having climbed back into the conference record, and having won 2 of 3 Conference series, now this club is 3-6 and has lost 2 of 3 series. @Ostate_Daily And how did that work out for us? Swept to open conference play is hard to come back from. And it's just bad baseball - pitching, errors, hitting, coaching. I miss elite Cowboy baseball and it looks long gone.
