🚨 TIMELINE RECAP 🚨 As America’s largest Homecoming approaches, here’s where our boycott will shine the brightest. • Cheryl Cummings and her brother Ryan Cummings originally went 50-50 on buying Willies. While Ryan later left town, Cheryl successfully ran Willies and expanded enough to purchase JR Murphy’s and Outlaws. • During Ryan’s time away, he met Lauren Michelle Owen. After Lauren was released from federal prison in March 2025. Ryan returned to Stillwater with Lauren, telling Cheryl they wanted to be more involved with the bars. Ryan & Lauren reportedly changed the locks on all three bars, fired the whole staff, and are now in court attempting to claim full ownership and remove Cheryl from the businesses. • Lauren Michelle Owen, the “new owner” of Willies, Murphys, and Outlaws, plead guilty to embezzling north of $1M Dollars and is expected to pay back north of $1M Dollars. • Court filings show she’s now being sued by her latest “ex”-husband for allegedly taking $100,000 in company funds for personal legal fees. • Multiple sources close to Lauren reported with alleged questionable operations and behavior tied to her management of the bars including the added metal detectors at the door, cashless pay, and raising beer prices. • Meanwhile, I’m being sued by Ryan Cummings, Lauren’s business partner & boyfriend, for defamation over posts here that I’ve made on X (all public info). This Homecoming, we can show them that we don’t support what they’re doing to our home, by continuing our boycott. #SaveTheStrip (@thegerbal683 )
