Under the leadership of @POTUS, America is working with our partners to advance energy security, regional stability, economic growth, and new investment across the Eastern Mediterranean. When nations work together to secure reliable and affordable energy, they strengthen their economies and the partnerships that keep our world safe and prosperous. The new Eastern Mediterranean Energy Center advances this critical cooperation. We look forward to expanding business-to-business engagement and unlocking the vast energy potential of the region for the benefit of our nations and our people.

Με μεγάλη τιμή και χαρά παρευρέθηκα στην τελετή θεμελίωσης του νέου Εργοστασίου Κατασκευής Συστημάτων Μη Επανδρωμένων Μέσων, στη #Μαλακάσα Αττικής. Η «Ατζέντα 2030» είναι μια ολιστική αρχιτεκτονική προστασίας της Πατρίδας μας. Με ένα συγκεκριμένο σχεδιασμό, που εκτείνεται στη θάλασσα, στη στεριά, στον αέρα, αλλά πλέον και στον κυβερνοχώρο & στο διάστημα. Με μια νέα βασική αντίληψη: την αλλαγή των πάντων όπως τα ξέραμε. Μια χώρα που έχει δεχθεί απειλή, που έχει εν ενεργεία απειλή εναντίον της, δεν έχει την πολυτέλεια να παρακολουθεί παθητικά τα τεκταινόμενα στον τομέα των Μη Επανδρωμένων Μέσων. Πρέπει να συμμετέχουμε στις εξελίξεις, όχι μόνο ως αγοραστές και ως χρήστες Συστημάτων, αλλά ως χώρα που παράγει, σχεδιάζει, εξελίσσει. Και είναι ένας από τους διακηρυγμένους στόχους της «Ατζέντας 2030». η δημιουργία εγχώριας παραγωγικής δυνατότητας, ειδικά σε αυτόν τον κρίσιμο τομέα για την αποτροπή και την επιχειρησιακή μας αυτονομία. Τα αποτελέσματα είναι ορατά και μετρήσιμα, γιατί η αρχή έχει γίνει ήδη. Σε πολύ σύντομο χρονικό διάστημα, το 306 ΕΒΤ και το 316 ΣΠΤΧ έχουν τη δυνατότητα να παράξουν σήμερα που συζητάμε, δηλαδή σε ένα διάστημα 2 ετών, 4.000 FPV, drones κατηγορίας 1. Και μάλιστα, με την προσθήκη 6 Κινητών Μονάδων Παραγωγής, η ικανότητα αυτή, η δυνατότητα αυτή, αποκτά διασπορά, ευελιξία, επιχειρησιακό βάθος, δυνατότητα των Διοικητών των Σχηματισμών να αποφασίζουν τι ακριβώς χρειάζονται. Σήμερα κάνουμε ένα μεγάλο βήμα μπροστά, τολμώ να πω ένα άλμα. Αυτό το νέο Εργοστάσιο Κατασκευής Μη Επανδρωμένων Συστημάτων στη Μαλακάσα (309 ΕΣΜΕΜ) έρχεται να μετατρέψει μια αρχική δυνατότητα σε μια παραγωγή βιομηχανικής κλίμακας. Είναι η πρώτη βιομηχανική μεγάλη εγκατάσταση των ελληνικών Ενόπλων Δυνάμεων, που είναι απόλυτα εξειδικευμένη στην κατασκευή των Μη Επανδρωμένων Μέσων. Cyprus, Greece, Israel, and the United States have launched the Eastern Mediterranean Energy Centre in Houston and agreed to develop a joint energy cooperation roadmap by the end of the year. The initiative, announced during the 3+1 Energy Dialogue, will focus on energy security, offshore natural gas development, energy infrastructure, technological innovation, and research cooperation. The project further strengthens strategic coordination among the four countries in the Eastern Mediterranean and represents another setback for Ankara's efforts to expand its influence over the region's energy resources and maritime affairs.
