@ZTarantov Yes EMMS is causing us a lot of problems, that's why we are getting rid of MMX.

@FFmpeg That sounds like a correctness problem with the MMX code, relying on something the calling convention does not guarantee and it just happened to work because the compiler never violated their assumptions (in the builds they tested).

@Abrar77Ahmed @FFmpeg It's not absolutely exact that FFmpeg is written character-by-character: for indentation, the tab space can insert multiple spaces at once. (Also there was somebody who used copy-paste a lot.)

@FFmpeg @Arm Faster than c, or faster than the library routines? I'm curious because I write in both c and assembly and with a good lib, c is always about 90% as fast or better.
