Let me get this right. An MP, whose husband is being investigated for allegedly spying, on behalf of China, was having an affair with a naval officer from the Faslane naval base? I'm sure that just coincidental, right? We are also to believe that giving China a super-embassy in London, is in any way a good idea? Moreover, we are to believe that @UKLabour is doing anything to the benefit of the UK?! Joani Reid, Labour MP for East Kilbride and Strathaven, whose husband David Taylor faces allegations of spying for China since his March 2026 arrest, is reported to have had inappropriate conduct with nuclear submarine personnel. The first incident occurred during a 2025 visit to Faslane naval base, where Reid allegedly became extremely drunk and overly familiar with a senior officer, prompting early exit from the Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme and reports to parliamentary authorities over fears of sensitive information leaks. A separate recent case involves flirtatious messages with a married nuclear submarine captain, who stepped back from duties; while no rules were broken, both incidents amplify scrutiny on Reid's access to UK defence sites amid her husband's denied espionage charges. There is not a single MP in this country that I would ever wish harm on. I may disagree with them or find their politics abhorrent, but intimidation has no place in a democracy. What we are now seeing from this @TheGreenParty candidate turning up at an MP’s office in an intimidating manner towards her and her staff, is completely unacceptable. We have already seen where this road leads with the murders of Jo Cox and David Amess, two MPs with different politics but the same tragic outcome, and it should have been a line that is never crossed again. This behaviour fuels that same dangerous environment and it must stop, and the Green Party should act immediately and stand this individual down.

The last tanker of jet fuel from the Middle East to the UK arrives Thursday. After that: Nothing. Worth noting that the UK normally has 8 Middle Eastern jet fuel cargoes in transit at any time. Now, this is the last one. Jet fuel prices are already double pre-war levels & industry experts say airlines will start feeling the squeeze by end of April. The government says "book your summer holidays as normal." That advice is going to age very badly.

It’s an open secret. And your government is complicit. It is still happening in towns and cities across the UK. Little girls are being subjected to the worst abuse imaginable, at the hands of men who know they can get away with it. Nothing has changed. You are still turning a blind eye despite decades of undeniable evidence. Politicians like you are trying to sweep the scandal under the carpet, sabotaging the National Inquiry at every turn so that they can save their own skins. And little girls are still being sacrificed at the altar of multiculturalism and traded for votes. Decades later. The same old story. You may not have shoved little girls into taxis or plied them with vapes himself, but you and your entire government are just as guilty as if you had. And I, for one, refuse to be silenced or placated by the very people who have spent decades discrediting victims and survivors like me.
