@GDukex3 @BleacherReport And you be happy about that. I made my point. We’ll be right back here in 25 years for Drake Maye vs Tyler shough, and you’ll need all the luck you can get for that

@birgee249 @BleacherReport Ok your statement was tom has had collectively the worst offensive talent. Which isn’t true. Which is why I stated those names. In the beginning.
English

@GDukex3 @BleacherReport Barry’s post was qb playoff efficiency stats. I have not brought up defense and would never argue defense/total team talent of patriots vs saints
English

@birgee249 @BleacherReport Drew had less talent around him. Regardless of “how long” they were around the talent was there. It’s not close my guy it’s just not.
English

@GDukex3 @BleacherReport Not necessarily numbers as is the case for 16, but the total offensive talent
English

@birgee249 @BleacherReport Number 1 defense 2003 2016
Number 2 defense 06
Number 3 defense 04
Number 6 defense 01
Number 10 defense 13
Português

@GDukex3 @BleacherReport And my point was when you add up 01-06 and 13, even 16, it’s close. That the numbers for those runs drag down the avg to make ppl like Barry here think they made some great point
English

@birgee249 @BleacherReport The conversation was tom has had more help compared to drew. You’re naming colston who would at best be Tom’s 4th or 5th receiver. And same with MT. Ive conceded that drew has had better backs yes but in totality tom has had better WR TE and defenses
English

@GDukex3 @BleacherReport If you had colston for a whole decade straight, you can’t tell me his impact on a whole career playoff sample is 1 for 1 with moss being there for 2 playoff runs and a tb acl tear in between
English

@birgee249 @BleacherReport Colston is greater than moss, AB, Hernandez, Gronk, welker? And again don’t forget defense
English

@GDukex3 @BleacherReport It does matter. You added up all those names in your first point to tell me how many great guys he played with, as if the total number is can be compared 1 for 1. He had moss for 2 playoff runs. AB for 1. Tampa guys for 3. Welker for 4. Hernandez for 3. Out of 21.
English

@birgee249 @BleacherReport Remember when Wes Welker, Danny amandola, Edelman, Chris hogan were giving tom consistent play Drew was throwing to Kenny stills lance moore Willie Snead Josh hill as his TE. Dan Arnold etc. first pro bowl receiver was MT.
English

@GDukex3 @BleacherReport And I don't mean to downplay gronk. My point is, he really saved us from being putrid on offense for those later years, when the only other draft hit was a 7th round qb turned wr
English

@birgee249 @BleacherReport Henderson at best would be Tom’s 8-9th best receiver. Colston would be 4th-5th MT 4th-5th and again Tom’s defense was better than Drew’s.
English

@vikesfan27777 @BarryOnHere Drew’s top 3 receivers were MT Colston and cooks. Cooks played with both Drew and Brady and he wouldn’t even be in Brady’s top five receivers 😂
English

@GDukex3 @BarryOnHere 2001-2006: Bad weapons
2007: Good weapons
2008-2009: Injured + meh
2011-2017: Great tight end play when healthy (lots of time not healthy) but bad WRs
2018-2019: Bad weapons
2020-2021: Stacked
2022: Meh
English

Here's the career playoff efficiency for 6 Hall of Fame quarterbacks. Not medicore QB's with fluky good playoff stats. 6 HALL OF FAMERS.
So how is it, in a sport where winning is heavily correlated with QB efficiency, that the QB with the 2nd worst efficiency of the bunch has by far the most rings?
Could it be that Brady was....dare I say.....an overrated luck merchant who got bailed out at an unprecedentedly high rate which led to an inflated ring count?

English

@vikesfan27777 @BarryOnHere Man said meh weapons and his weapons were pro bowlers the year before during and after 💀. The point still stands if they were meh they still were better than Drew’s cast and that’s just facts 😂
English

@birgee249 @BleacherReport 2010s he had Gronk the greatest TE ever. Edelman top 10-15 receiver at his peak. Wes welker. DB and Brady both had cooks. And again top 5-10 defenses year in and year out the cast is consistently better than DBs no matter how you put it.
English

@GDukex3 @BleacherReport Higher peaks of talent and lower valleys. So many of those guys only played a few years of toms career. You still had 01-06 and 13 with nothing, and the entire 2010s were held together by gronk and Edelman amid the worst wr drafting ever. It’s gonna affect a 48gm playoff sample
English

@vikesfan27777 @BarryOnHere Moss, Ocho, AB, TO, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin aren’t just WRs they were elite when they were with him. Also GRONK, Hernandez???? Also 85% of his career his defense was ranked top 10. So again Brady has a way better cast than brees.
English

@GDukex3 @BarryOnHere If supporting cast is just WRs then sure. He always had really good protection, had a great offfebsive playcaller and had guys like Jimmy Graham and good gadget players
Also played in a dome.
English

@birgee249 @BleacherReport Gronk, Moss, Ocho, AB, Mike Evan’s, Chris Godwin, Hernandez, I can even put Edelman in there. MT was the only pro bowl receiver DB had granted colston should’ve had atleast 2. TB had better offense and defensive help throughout his career.
English

@GDukex3 @BleacherReport Yo he blocked me so I’ll reply once here but I’ll give you that Brees never had anyone close to moss. Still, across all his seasons he was playing with a bunch of bullshit more often than not. It’s close. Drew had colston, mt, graham spread throughout his career, +the backs🔥
English

@birgee249 @BarryOnHere Brees had the worst cast and it’s not close. 😂
English

@BarryOnHere Tom collectively had the worst offensive talent out of all those guys, heavily impacting his offensive numbers. His defenses tended to be better than all those guys (maybe not Joe), so he won more. Plus he was more clutch ofc, so he won WAY more. Mahomes can get there, let’s see
English

@vikesfan27777 @BarryOnHere Brees had the worst cast and it’s not close. 😂
English

@BarryOnHere Patriots he better defenses but also at the same Tom Brady had much worse supporting casts on offense which plays a super large role in effeciency
