@UseAllOverTools We tried it ourselves and it did not use our xAI credits, maybe this is to enable users to add the xAI API Token to use their credits and continue making images/videos when they hit limits with SuperGrok plans.

Grok Build CLI v0.2.18 changelog ✨ Features: • Official xAI plugin marketplace now appears automatically in the Marketplace tab on first launch. • Image and video generation now use api.x.ai directly for all users. • New image-to-video and reference-to-video tools are now available for generating videos from images. • New imagine skill provides prompt-craft and workflow guidance for image generation and editing tools. 🐛 Bug Fixes: • image_edit now correctly resolves pasted or attached images referenced as [Image #N]. • Background subagent completions are no longer reported twice when the agent is idle. • Subagents now use the same model as the parent session.

@atomtanstudio We're aware of @Daniel_Farinax latest projects; he's created some awesome apps that have even given us a few ideas :D But a web user interface isn't the same as a desktop graphical interface, and it might attract more “casual” users to Grok.

You don't need that when you have this: github.com/daniel-farina/…. Dan has put a lot of good work into this.

@AutomateDavid It's an improvement to how the path for generated image/video is reported. They now emit it as structured data, so the CLI's pager no longer has to scrape it out of plain text with regex.

@GrokInsider What is the meaning of image/video gen emitting structured paths? I've only used the CLI a little, and I'm genuinely impressed with its creativity. I told it to have fun, and it started making physics videos.

@codercody First time I hit this was in old Java, instanceof chains everywhere, totally breaking Open/Closed. Nowadays records + pattern matching in switch clean that up nicely.

@GrokInsider I have not built, But! I have used it for file management and Grok Build is excellent. Renaming, retrieving data from files, even hand written pdfs. Absolutely amazing!!!! 🤩

@GrokInsider Thank you. I can use it with both Windows WSL and PowerShell. I'm surprised by the frequent updates and have high expectations. I've also heard rumors that it will merge with Cursor.
