@GeorgeFSinclair It wasn't made up though... chinas mass elections are held at a local level, those local politicians start electing their leadership and create an intra-party democracy. x.com/HandsOffDPRK/s…
Tankie ☭@HandsOffDPRK

there are different types and forms of elections. China does have mass elections, but mainly at the lowest levels: county, township, town, etc. China’s own government says deputies to county- and township-level people’s congresses are directly elected by voters, while deputies above county level are elected indirectly by the people’s congress at the next lower level. Source: english.www.gov.cn/news/202503/06… Those who get elected engage in whats called an intra-party democracy which start electing their leadership of the party english.www.gov.cn/archive/china_… If the leader is bad you change leadership not the party

@GeorgeFSinclair I created an hypothetical scenario because its the best way to answer your question that did not make sense. What is north korea supposed to do to a person in the south? It only makes sense if they were in the north.

@FreedomFlaming0 Alliance with the enemy is temporary, the same way with Maos alliance with the KMT was temporary. History has not exonerated your assertion as history shows Mao coming on top of the KMT. The anarchist FAQ does not disprove anything.

@HandsOffDPRK You can't prevent this when you ally with and rely on your enemy. History exonerates my assertion. I'm done with this conversation until you read the full national liberation section of the Anarchist FAQ and wish to respond to its arguments

@GeorgeFSinclair That’s because NPC deputies from Hong Kong are chosen by an electoral conference, not by universal direct vote. This is called an intra party democracy the electoral conference politicians would be voted in by the masses, setting the bases of the intra party democracy.

@HandsOffDPRK Because you were acting like anarchists reject all authority. even if experts are given a certain scope of tasks they can perform, the power remains with the people who delegated the expert to recall them and choose not to replace them. Delegates don't have more structural power

@FreedomFlaming0 You have not shown this to be the case that you lost 20 times to me... Maos theories about class collaboration of the oppressed still hold true. x.com/HandsOffDPRK/s…
Tankie ☭@HandsOffDPRK

Same thing with communist democratic structures, they are genuinely controlled by the masses too, Via elections, and the party serving the interests of the proletariat. They have a DOTP which allows the proletariat to dictate everything... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism… yet revisionists still took power "Everyone has to agree with counterrevolution" sounds nice until one tiny faction blocks every urgent decision during war, famine or sabotage. Consensus doesnt magically stop counterrevolution. It can give counterrevolution a veto. And if the commune ignores the blockers and acts anyway, then congrats, you are back to majority rule/authority. If it doesn't act, it gets crushed. So anarchism still has the same problem: either no one can enforce anything, or someone does enforce it and you pretend thats not political power.

@FreedomFlaming0 depends on whats the purpose of authoritarianism. Capitalism only uses it to protect the oppressive class system Either way class collaboration of the oppressed theory was not debunked by you.

AI is correct here, your wrong. AI is a fine tool to use for research or too explain a really complicated concept and put them into words. And the bootmaker quote doesnt save you. Nobody is saying expertise = tyranny. The point is that delegated expertise is still authority inside limits. If the bootmaker gives advice, fine. If the bootmaker is selected by a structure, given a role, makes binding decisions, and can be recalled, then thats organized authority. Marxists dont reject expertise. We reject pretending authority disappears just because you call it delegation.

@HandsOffDPRK If I wanted to argue with AI I would just argue with AI. Talk to me like a human please. Look up the authority of the boot maker. "No authority" is a common strawman

Then your just admitting the same thing exists in anarchism too: delegated authority. If experts are selected by structures, given scope, allowed to make decisions, and can be recalled, thats not “no authority.” Thats authority with limits. Marxists also support limited authority, elections, recall, supervision, criticism, term limits, etc. The difference is we dont pretend authority disappears just because its delegated. The real question is what happens when the expert or their clique refuses recall or uses their position against the revolution. Then you need enforcement. And once you have enforcement, youre back to organized political power.

@HandsOffDPRK The experts are only delegated and are allowed to make decisions because of their scope and limits given to them by the structures who select them. Without this they have no authority

The DPRKS actions speak louder then words....the means of production is either indirectly owned by the proletariat through the ownership of their state, or directly by worker co-operatives and socially. Juche is part of the constitution and juche is korean based socialism... But is this how you define what a socialist country is? Weather or not it has the word socialism is written all over the peace of paper and the more words of socialism it has the more socialist a country is? The nazis called themselves national socialist doesnt make them so. Why? Cause actions speak louder then words! Juche is built upon marxism getting most of its language from it so why does it need to say its marxist after 70 years after the revolution.
