𝕏 is cool. but it’s 1000x better when your timeline is full with people who code nd build things. if you’re into tech, AI, startups, design, web dev, web3, or programming, say hi 👋

Software engineers are still struggling to get ₹3–5 LPA salaries, Meanwhile content creators are buying Mercedes and BMWs.

Unpopular opinion: Your senior dev who says "this won't scale" is sometimes just scared of simplicity. Not every 1-table database needs sharding. Not every API needs a message queue. Not every startup needs microservices. Complexity is not architecture. It's just complexity. The best system is the one that solves today's problem without creating tomorrow's nightmare.

There are two friends of mine who completed their B.Tech in 2021. One got placed in a support role with a 6 LPA package, and the other got placed in a testing role with 4 LPA. At that time, we thought the support role was great because of the higher package, chill life, and stability. We even felt bad for the testing guy who got just 4 LPA. The support role involved doing the same work again and again. There was no growth, the same pressure, the same calls, and they didn't even have time to learn. On the other hand, the testing guy's work wasn't that pressurized, so in his free time, he learned Java, built real-time projects, learned automation, and made his resume strong. Four years later, the testing guy is in a good company as an SDE, moving from 4 LPA to 24 LPA. Whereas the support guy, with 5% yearly hikes, is still in the same company earning 7.3 LPA. He had no time to upskill and no confidence to switch. You know why this happens in corporate? Because of the comfort zone. It doesn't matter where you start from.
