Traffic Advisory : Our officers are currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash on Rt 34 in close proximity to Rt 33. Rt 34 will be closed while the investigation is conducted.. it could be several hours.. please avoid the area

Traffic advisory: Fort Plains Rd will be closed between West Farms Rd and Hulses Corner Rd to all traffic for repair work to local utilities. Alternate Routes available are Hulses to Rt 9 and West Farms to Jackson Mills Rd closure end approx 3:00pm

On 6/20/23 around 10pm, several subjects were running through yards on Cherry Tree Circle. Subject pictured rang a doorbell, and then proceeded to pull his pants down and expose his buttocks. also suspected of stealing a minibike. Contact Howell Police if you can id this person.

Information sought_Today at approximately 2:45 pm a vehicle struck 5 geese as they were crossing Maxim Southard Rd in the vicinity of Echo Lake Park. There were no witnesses, that we are aware of, who saw the vehicle strike the geese. Call 732-938-4111 with any info

Congratulations to Christian Antunez on his promotion to Lieutenant. He has been with the department since 2005. He has been a Patrol Officer, Detective, Detective Sgt, and Patrol Sgt. He will be assigned temporarily as the Dayshift Watch Commander.
