The future is bright. Built a mobile app with Codex, running Gemma locally. Works great. Took under an hour. Now it’s just polishing.

Spud isn’t a GPT-5.x iteration. It’s a new pretraining foundation. Calling it GPT-5.5 or GPT-5o would be branding denial. The name is still being debated, but if logic wins, it should be GPT-6.

@JustinBleuel @jackadoresai @romainhuet @TheRealAdamG @OpenAI Thanks, great to hear. On Windows, both the desktop app and multiple browsers become increasingly unresponsive as chats grow. Scrolling stutters, input lags, and the UI often freezes until refresh. Android stays smooth with the same account.

The Android ChatGPT app feels instant and stable. On Windows, both app and browser lag badly, freeze, and become unusable as chats grow. My PC is more than capable. The desktop/web client seriously needs optimization. @romainhuet @therealadamg @openai @justinbleuel

I love ChatGPT on Android: fast, fluid, stable. But on Windows, chats quickly become laggy, unresponsive, and buggy across multiple browsers and the desktop app.

We’ve seen Claude Code users bring in Codex for code review and use GPT-5.4 for more complex tasks, so we thought: why not make that easier? Today we’re open sourcing a plugin for it! You can call Codex from Claude Code with your ChatGPT subscription. We love an open ecosystem!

I built a new plugin! You can now trigger Codex from Claude Code! Use the Codex plugin for Claude Code to delegate tasks to Codex or have Codex review your changes using your ChatGPT subscription. Start by installing the plugin: github.com/openai/codex-p…

Claude Code can now use your computer directly — open apps, click through UI, test what it builds. The shift from coding assistant to autonomous dev agent is accelerating faster than most people realize.

This looks very promising. The future no longer depends on models, but on agent orchestration. We’ll see this play out more and more in practice, and I’m glad to see there’s now solid competition in this space.

@zivdotcat The real problem isn’t AI helping people survive. It’s that the people who can do this usually have money, access, and powerful networks. AI may be revolutionary. Human inequality still decides who gets to benefit from it.
