Hi Adam, sorry to hear about your experience. We are working with NSW Taxi Council to improve the experience for short fare passengers. However, taxis should not be refusing fares based on distance. Thanks for all your taxi tweets. Turns out there used to be a system at Sydney airport whereby any cabbie taking a short fare would get a ticket that allows them to jump to the head of the queue when they return. I believe they do it elsewhere too. Maybe time to reinstate it?
